Its been quite a while now since a wrote in here about anything. The last week in July I did the
Spudman Tri in Burley, Idaho. I did okay but really wasn't prepared for it the way that I should have been. As a result I ended up cramping really bad for half of the run...it was pretty miserable. Since that race I haven't really been training too hard at all. I've been riding my bike fairly consistently but my running has been sporadic at best and swimming non existent. I've managed to pack on some extra pounds around the mid section and really I just don't feel very good about myself right now. So its time to once again dedicate myself to training. Hopefully I've given my knee ample time to heal and I'll be good to go. Really I think that running is the core of my training process, its what motivates me to get better and better and I work my other trainings around its schedule. First thing first I need a training plan....time to get to work.
Train hard and win big!
